Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology; Gods & Goddesses brings forth the Heroines and Heroes discovered throughout time during travels and literature from around the world, and many summers in Greece.
Originally inspired from an image of some steps in an architecture magazine featuring Moroccan buildings and homes; the lighting of the image and the shadow it cast on the marble stone of the staircase gave way to what became the Sophia pendant.
Research always starts with Greek mythology where we came across Goddess Sophia. It is in the Greek (Σοφíα) that Sophia has come to denote wisdom. It (or rather she, for wisdom is always feminine) is mentioned by Plato.
In fact philosophy (philo-sophia) is still known as the “love of wisdom.” In ancient Greece she was the Goddess of wisdom and knowledge

In Greek mythology, wisdom is feminine, and the Sophia Cuff celebrates this with a sleek design, where concentric circles and eclipses come together and around your wrist, creating an image of harmony, unity and thoughtfulness. The sparkle of silver and the broad lines gives the Sophia Cuff focus without weighing down your hand.
